The Mattel Toy Company wanted to celebrate Christmas in style.
As a leading global children’s entertainment company, they are renowned for creating innovative products and experiences that inspire, entertain and develop children through play.
The annual Christmas party is an opportunity for employees from across the business to come together and celebrate the success of another year operating in 40 locations and selling products in more than 150 countries in collaboration with the world’s leading retail and technology companies.
THE WORK
Since its founding in 1945, Mattel is proud to be a trusted partner in exploring the wonder of childhood and empowering kids to reach their full potential.
Ingenious Events knew that with a heritage like this the Christmas Party had to be spectacular.
Ingenious Events made full use of the Universal Studios venue working to deliver a Winter Wonderland theme that made every guest feel like the ultimate VIP.
We worked with the organizers to create an exclusive atmosphere that reflected our illustrious Hollywood venue and brought all the elements of a show-stopping movie premiere to life.
The red-carpet entrance was made to feel even more glamorous with a Step and Repeat banner as well as a live photographer to capture all the thrills and spills of the guests’ arrivals. While the Hollywood glam factor was fully reflected with eh addition of lighting sweeping the room as guests entered the ballroom.
Ingenious Events’ very own Danny Farrell made sure the dancefloor was packed with a Christmas theme DJ set that had everyone out of their seats. The Christmas theme was brought to life with red and white LED uplights surrounding the perimeter of the room.
We made sure guests would be thoroughly entertained with two customized photo booths in the venue. The photo booths featured a range of bespoke Holiday backgrounds that reinforced the Christmas theme and the Mattel brand.
RESULTS
Guests loved the chance to feel like a celebrity and have it all captured on film.
When they went on the dancefloor, guests were vying with each other to create and share the best selfie of the night.
Ingenious Events made every guest feel like the ultimate VIP, taking care of every detail to make sure our client and their guests had the time of their lives.
